I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity to study a second language in middle school. I then continued studying throughout high school. This interest sent me on a path to earn a degree in Anthropology and Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Buenos Aires holds a special place with me since that’s where I lived and studied. I earned my K-12 Spanish degree from Indiana University of PA and have been teaching in the public school system for seven years, where I get to see students find at least one thing about the language or culture that truly interests them. I also hold a certificate in middle school Math.

Other countries or territories that I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to include Spain, México, Chile, Uruguay, Perú, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Morocco, France and England.
