Hello all, my name is Diana Marcano. I was born in the Dominican Republic and migrated to New York City at nine. I speak Spanish and English. I have a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law with a concentration in Political Science and minors in Spanish and Sociology. My long-term goal is to become an Immigration or Social Work Lawyer. I love to help others, and I hope to continue doing that professionally and personally.
While attending college, I taught adults English as a Second Language (ESL); and educated them on the Citizenship Test. All of my students became U.S. Citizens! In addition to teaching adults, I have taught Theology or Bible Studies to children and youth. I have mentored youth and supported their intellectual, psychological, and mental growth.
I love adventure, learning about different cultures, traveling, and trying new foods. I enjoy anything from adrenaline-driven activities to Broadway shows.
