I’m Mrs. Tang, and you can call me Tāng lǎo shī. I’m your Chinese Mandarin teacher, and I’m so excited to have you in my Chinese class this year! We will have a lot of fun, of course, and learn a lot together.

My hometown is Hunan, a mountainous province in southern China. I am fluent in both Mandarin and English. I studied English Education at Hunan University of Science and Technology. After graduating from college, I taught Chinese to foreign expats as well as Chinese children. My first job after moving to the United States in 2015 was teaching Chinese at Executive Education Academy Charter School. I’ve been teaching languages for over a decade. I enjoy traveling because it allows me to meet new people and learn new things.
