The World of Learning institute is seeking part-time facilitators who have a passion for teaching world languages and cultures, math or science. Our immediate need is for Latin. We also are open to speaking with Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, ASL, Math, and Science Instructors. PA certification is preferred or other state-level certification will be considered.
We are looking for….
Our ideal candidate will be an eager learner who embraces using best practices in the virtual classroom, is an excellent communicator, and works well in a team environment.
Our facilitators …
Host live, virtual world instruction using Zoom technology, and apply research-based practices, such as using comprehensible input and tailoring class activities to meet learners’ interests and needs.

The WOL Staff is truly interested in putting student learning first ensuring that learning can happen anytime and anywhere. They have been responsive to the needs of our learners, listened to our feedback, and redesigned their program to meet the needs of our learners.
Taking an online class is different because it allows for me to work at a more comfortable pace and work ahead if I am able to.
I’ve taken up studying Japanese again using Duolingo, and I still remember the kana and several words like it was yesterday. I still can identify if something is a verb or a negative, too; you sure did a great job!
