I developed a love for learning Spanish in my own high school classes and went on to earn an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Education from Guilford College, then a Masters in Curriculum and Instructional design from the University of Noth Carolina- Greensboro. For the past 16 years, I have been working with students of all ages to further their Spanish-speaking abilities.

I have had the great privilege to travel to many parts of the Spanish-speaking world. I studied abroad in Mexico and Ecuador, worked in Colombia, Equatorial Guinea, and Spain, and toured through Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, Panama, Nicaragua, Peru and Bolivia with my family and students.
